Hello! I'm JP, the owner of Voyage Restoration. I've been a professional painter for two decades. I started as an apprentice for a large general contracting firm, where I honed my skills in high-end residential and commercial painting.

After achieving journeyman status, I established my own painting company in Minneapolis, Minnesota - my home town. For over 15 years, Derrick Painting & Repair thrived solely on client referrals, a testament to my commitment to quality.

Following a lifelong dream, I recently relocated to North Carolina and settled in Morehead City - Fisherman's Paradise. I'm passionate about all aspects of painting and remodeling, and I firmly believe that meticulous preparation is the key to achieving exceptional results.

Why the name Voyage Restoration? I believe in bringing spaces and places back to life instead of tearing them down. To do so requires a journey of grit, vision and thoughtfulness. 

I currently serve awesome clients in Morehead City, Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, and the greater Carteret County area.
